Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Orlando, FL)

Rivermark Sparrow Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Orlando. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Track costs around licensing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to care plans, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
