Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Oklahoma City, OK)

Nova Juniper Care Services supports families and individuals in Oklahoma City with personal care and coordination, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client records, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around visit scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with client records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
