Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Oklahoma City, OK)

Amberfield Cross Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Oklahoma City, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around network equipment against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field visits, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oklahoma City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
