Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Oklahoma City, OK)

Lumen Vale Markets Group is a Oklahoma City retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to promotions, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We reply to every applicant.
