Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Oklahoma City, OK)

We are growing our team at Redstone Meridian Facilities and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleaning schedules, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around supply orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oklahoma City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
