Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Oklahoma City, OK)

Lumen Pine Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around customer orders against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oklahoma City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
