Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Miami, FL)

Bright Linden Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Miami. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Track costs around weigh tickets against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
