Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Memphis, TN)

Bluepeak Junction Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Memphis region. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to candidate screening, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis. • We reply to every applicant.
