Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Indianapolis, IN)

Greenridge Field Financial is a financial-services company in Indianapolis. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to vendor spend, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with vendor spend. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
