Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Fort Worth, TX)

Summit Sable Housing is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for lease compliance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around waiting lists against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with lease compliance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
