Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Denver, CO)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Yarrow Inspection Services Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 137 people based in Denver. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to test reports, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
