Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Cleveland, OH)

Rivermark Ashton Foods Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to sanitation schedules, and clear open items. • Track costs around allergen controls against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
