Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Summit Ridge Learning Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around student accounts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
