Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Cleveland, OH)

Clearpath Fox Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Cleveland, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to tuition and subsidies, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with tuition and subsidies. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
