Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Cleveland, OH)

Greenridge Vale Housing Group manages affordable housing communities across Cleveland, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our fixed assets. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to rent assistance, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around resident services against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
