Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Cross Hospitality and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 837 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Track costs around group events against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with supplier orders. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
