Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Ivory Health provides primary and specialty care in Buffalo. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around electronic records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to referrals, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with referrals. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
