Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Boise, ID)

Foxglove Basin Legal Group is a law firm in Boise serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around document review against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to intake forms, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with intake forms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
