Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Boise, ID)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Drift Banking Services Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to account openings, and clear open items. • Track costs around card disputes against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with account openings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
