Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Boise, ID)

Westbrook Union Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Boise. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around referrals against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with electronic records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
