Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Boise, ID)

Harborlight Linden Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Boise. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to test reports, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
