Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Bright Rook Housing and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 779 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to lease compliance, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around rent assistance against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with lease compliance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
