Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Atlanta, GA)

Redstone Haven Learning Group is an education provider in Atlanta serving students and families. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on fixed assets. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Track costs around learning materials against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to family communication, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
