Senior Accountant - fixed assets (Albuquerque, NM)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Linden Facilities and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer sites, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
