Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Tucson, AZ)

Rivermark Fox Manufacturing is a Tucson manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Track costs around machine downtime against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to work orders, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with work orders.
