Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Seattle, WA)

Northwind Kestrel Pharma Group develops and makes medicines in Seattle. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 74 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around cleanroom operations against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with clinical studies. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
