Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Seattle, WA)

Rivermark Rowan Care Services is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for client records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client records, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around care plans against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with client records.
