Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Savannah, GA)

Clearpath Linden Hospitality Group is a hospitality company in Savannah with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Track costs around supplier orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to reviews and feedback, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with reviews and feedback. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
