Senior Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

Silverline Meadow Medical is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for clinical evaluations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track costs around training materials against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
