Senior Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

Northwind Nest Staffing Group is a Little Rock staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would join a large organisation of about 873 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client orders, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around temp assignments against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with client orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Little Rock. • We reply to every applicant.
