Senior Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

Nova Kestrel Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Oklahoma City. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would join a large organisation of about 391 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around shrink and waste against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to online orders, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with online orders. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oklahoma City. • We reply to every applicant.
