Senior Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

Highbridge Drift Hospitality is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for reviews and feedback, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around housekeeping schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to reviews and feedback, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with reviews and feedback. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
