Senior Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

Lumen Vista Financial is a financial-services company in Phoenix. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to loan applications, and clear open items. • Track costs around customer onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
