Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Providence, RI)

Silverline Cobalt Medical Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for clinical evaluations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinical evaluations, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around device records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
