Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Phoenix, AZ)

Silverline Oak Telecom Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field visits, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around service installations against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
