Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Philadelphia, PA)

Redstone Pike Auto Group Partners is a Philadelphia company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our audit preparation. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around customer estimates against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
