Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Philadelphia, PA)

Greenridge Pike Medical is a Philadelphia company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Track costs around regulatory submissions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
