Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Orlando, FL)

Stonegate Corner Construction Holdings delivers building projects for owners across the Orlando region, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our audit preparation. You would join a large organisation of about 665 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to materials orders, and clear open items. • Track costs around project schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
