Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Orlando, FL)

Silverline Bridge Arts Center is an arts centre in Orlando with a full calendar of events, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our audit preparation. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around ticketing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with exhibitions.
