Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Oklahoma City, OK)

Bright Sparrow Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Oklahoma City. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around visit scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with caregiver training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We reply to every applicant.
