Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Oklahoma City, OK)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Stone Arts Center Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to school partnerships, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around exhibitions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with school partnerships. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oklahoma City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
