Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Oklahoma City, OK)

We are growing our team at Redstone Lakeside Energy Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be audit preparation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to hardship programmes, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oklahoma City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
