Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Minneapolis, MN)

Westbrook Oak Health Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Track costs around patient scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient education, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with patient education. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
