Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Miami, FL)

Bluepeak Forge Care Services Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for licensing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 194 people based in Miami. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around client records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with licensing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
