Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Memphis, TN)

Westbrook Juniper Foods Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around allergen controls against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
