Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Little Rock, AR)

Amberfield North Auto Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 637 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supplier deliveries, and clear open items. • Track costs around vehicle inspections against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
