Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Las Vegas, NV)

Northwind Maple Press is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for press runs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 145 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to press runs, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around customer orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
