Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Fort Worth, TX)

Silverline Lakeside Farms Group grows and distributes produce from farms near Fort Worth, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 199 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to seasonal crews, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fort Worth. • We reply to every applicant.
