Senior Accountant - audit preparation (Fort Worth, TX)

Amberfield North Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Fort Worth producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would join a large organisation of about 463 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinical studies, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around cleanroom operations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
