Senior Accountant - audit preparation (El Paso, TX)

Nova Rowan Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in El Paso, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to fleet maintenance, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around service complaints against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
